Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026

1. Educational tool, not legal advice

Eastern Texas Sentencing Calculator ("we", "us", the "Service") is an educational tool that generates informational estimates of federal sentencing guideline ranges based on the U.S. Sentencing Commission Guidelines Manual. We are a marketing company. We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. Using the Service does not create an attorney client relationship.

2. No guarantee of accuracy or outcome

Estimates are informational only and may not reflect statutory mandatory minimums, specific offense characteristics, adjustments, departures, or the facts of any particular case. No outcome is guaranteed. Prior outcomes do not predict future results. Do not rely on the Service to make legal decisions.

3. Advertising and attorney partners

The Service is advertising material. If you submit your contact information and check the applicable consent box, we may share your name, email, and (if provided) phone number with one or more independent attorney partners so they can contact you about potential federal criminal defense representation. Attorney partners are independent lawyers or law firms. They are solely responsible for the legal services they provide and for their own advertising and engagement practices.

4. Consent to be contacted

By submitting the form, you consent to receive email communications from us and our attorney partners about your inquiry. If you provide your phone number and check the phone consent box, you also expressly consent to receive calls and text messages, including via automated technology or prerecorded voice, from us and our attorney partners at the number provided, even if the number is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP and opt out of email by using the unsubscribe link in any message.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, reverse engineer it, use it to provide legal advice to third parties, or submit information that is false or that you do not have the right to submit. The Service is intended for users in the United States and for lawful, personal, informational use only.

6. Third party platforms and advertising

We may advertise the Service on platforms such as Google and Meta and use their measurement, retargeting, and audience tools. Your interaction with those ads is also governed by the applicable platform terms and policies.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
